Welcome in Arles, Provence! You will find a provincial farmhouse located at the cross of chemin du Mas d’André and CR11 de la Chaussée. The farmhouse was built in the 16th century and still holds its antique look.

Upon entering the house, you will find the living room decorated with antique furniture. There is a sofa, a dining table, and wooden cabinets which add to the charm. The kitchen is open and well equipped with a sink, an oven, a toaster and multiple cooking appliances and dishes. The bedroom has a double sized bed and a wooden dresser. The bathroom has a shower, a toilet and a sink. The whole house has terracotta tile flooring which is common in the South of France. There is also a washer and dryer for your convenience; and you will be able to enjoy the weather and relax on the terrace.

You will be residing in the city that inspired many of Van Gogh’s paintings, Arles. Indeed, in the 1800s, Vincent Van Gogh settled in the little town of Arles at the 30 rue de la Cavalerie. He had his studio in the Yellow House which inspired one of his oil paintings. Moreover, it used to be the provincial capital of ancient Rome which is why you will find remains such as the Amphitheater still used to this day for plays and concerts. There is also a festival of photography that occurs every summer called Les rencontres d’Arles. There is also another festival of photography named Voies off. You will find a few museums as well such as the Réattu Museum. However the real art is found in the streets and the architecture surrounding the apartment. Indeed, the loft is ideally located in the historic center. Walk along the quay of the Rhône River, get a croissant and a pain au chocolat at the boulangerie au Fournil de la Roquette, have dinner underneath the vaults in a cloister at Jardin des Arts.
