This two bedroom New York City apartment is located in the neighborhood of Bedford-Stuyvesant in Brooklyn. Taking up the entire third floor (second floor in Europe), this apartment has exposure to the street to the south and to a yard to the north. It is a walk-up building with its own private entrance and staircase leading to the unit, and the apartment is fully furnished.
The apartment itself has a large open plan. Upon entry, you are in the kitchen area, which is loaded with a fridge/freezer, microwave, oven, and coffee maker. Continuing on, the open space flows to a dining area complete with table and seating, and then continues to the left into the living area where you'll find seating and a television. Above the living area is a small loft area. The open area has very high, vaulted ceilings. The two bedrooms are located past the living room and dining area; in one you will find a king-sized bed, and in the other you will find two single beds. The bathroom is located underneath the loft area, just past the living area, and is complete with a tub and shower.
The neighborhood of Bed Stuy (Bedford-Stuyvesant) has seen extensive development over the last few years, resulting in several restaurants, wine bars, bistros, shops, and other locations opening up. You'll find a wide variety of foods across different cuisine types to suit just about any palate's taste, and there are five grocery stores and a laundromat within two blocks of this two bedroom New York apartment.
Transportation can be found nearby, including bus stops along Bedford Avenue about 0.2 miles/0.3 km to the west, and there is the Nostrand Avenue subway stop 0.4 miles to the south (approx. 0.6 km away), to take you anywhere you might need to go.
