This is a model apartment. It reflects both the quality and the style of the apartments we offer at this location. The individual apartments are a variation of this one with some differences in layout and exposure.
The studio apartment is situated in a five-story walk-up building constructed in the early 1900s in the Gramercy – Union Square area of Manhattan in New York located at Third Avenue and 14th Street. This furnished space has several features: two double beds to share the apartment with a friend, a TV with cable to watch your favorite shows, Internet access to surf online, and an air-conditioning unit to cool the space during warm days.
The kitchenette area of the studio is equipped with a mini-fridge, a microwave, a coffee maker and a toaster where you prepare your breakfast, lunch and dinner. The ensuite bathroom has a shower, a toilet and a sink.
Please note that the speed of the Internet connection may be slowed down at times.
The closest subway stations are a short walk away (3rd Avenue station where you can access the L train or the Union Square station where you can find the 4, 5, 6, N, Q and R lines). There is not always a need to use the extensive NYC underground system since Union Square itself is home to a wide array of activities. In the park, you can participate in walking tours and outdoor fitness classes, or conclude your day by listening to a concert. There are many schools in the neighborhood such as the New York Film Academy, the New School, as well as NYU student residences.
There is a multitude of restaurants close to the apartment. You can explore the neighborhood and find any types of places to eat from a simple pizzeria to an Asian fusion diner. Bars and lounges are all around like Pete’s Tavern established in 1864 and the trendy Coffee Shop on Union Square West.
