This fully furnished one bedroom duplex apartment is located in Chelsea, New York, just a few blocks north of the West Village. The duplex occupies the ground and first floor of a 4-story townhouse. There is also the luxury of a backyard patio and garden that are private to this apartment, complete with patio furniture and a koi pond. Private laundry facilities are found in the basement.
This apartment has many unique features, including exposed wooden ceiling beams in the kitchen, a den with a piano and a living room with a library of books. The lower level includes the main living room with a decorative fireplace and painted exposed bricks, a full bathroom with a bathtub, and the kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped with an industrial sized stove, a dishwasher, a microwave and a cappuccino maker. The backyard is accessible through the kitchen.
Upstairs is the bedroom, furnished with two single size beds combined to make one king size bed, which also has a small alcove with a sofa for relaxing. The windows of the kitchen and bedroom have southern exposure, overlooking the backyard garden, while the living rooms both have windows with northern exposure, facing the street. The windows are double-paned to help block out noise and add to the climate control.
PLEASE NOTE that the koi fish in the backyard will need to be fed beginning in the spring.
