This fully furnished one bedroom is located in the neighborhood of Crown Heights, in the central portion of the New York City borough of Brooklyn. It is situated on the second floor (considered 1st by Europeans) of a four story townhouse.
The high ceilings of this apartment (10ft or approx. 3m) and the open space between the living room and the kitchen will give you a sense of greater space. The living area is lined with hardwood floors and is furnished with a double size futon providing additional sleeping arrangements if you have guests. There is a TV for entertainment and WiFi internet is also available. The decorative fireplace adds charm and elegance to the bedroom also lined with hardwood floors and featuring two southwestern exposed windows overlooking the street. The room has a queen size bed and a TV. You will find all the necessities to prepare your meals at home is the tiled kitchen, including a microwave, a coffee machine and toaster. The bathroom is also tiled and has the luxury of a Jacuzzi bathtub, perfect to relieve the stress of a busy day at work or school!
You can find this one bedroom apartment at Pacific Street and Brooklyn Avenue. A laundromat is conveniently located around the corner, on Atlantic Avenue. Located two blocks north of the apartment, Fulton Street, in Bedford Stuyvesant, has many pharmacies, restaurants and a supermarket for grocery shopping. Crown Heights is home to the Brooklyn Children’s Museum and Brower Park, between Brooklyn and Kingston Avenues, popular with basketball players and dog-walkers. Less than two miles away is NYC second biggest public park: Prospect Park, ideal for picnics in the summer time! And if you have the chance to be in New York for Labor Day in September, don't miss the popular West Indian Labor Day parade, which attracts between one and three million participants every year!
The nearest subway station is the Nostrand Avenue / Fulton Street station, served by lines A and C. These trains offer both express and local services to and from Manhattan. The C train will take you to the Barclays center in Brooklyn, which hosts major sporting events, concerts, conventions and other events. And with the A train you will be in lower Manhattan in as few as three stops! These two lines run up to Harlem passed Greenwich Village, Chelsea and the Upper West Side, and to the eastern parts of Brooklyn and Queens all the way to the Far Rockaway beaches on the Atlantic Ocean!

The location of the apartment was the only weak point, because it was a little bit far from the subway. But the neighborhood was nice. |
