Apartment Rental: 4 months

Location was great, but unfortunately it wasn't clean at all when we arrived. Everything was sticky and just cleaned extremely superficial. Not at all acceptable considering the price we paid! Central heating wasn't working at all. The cheap portable heatings are not good and one wasn't working at all - we were freezing when it got cold! Building entrance door often didn't close, so ANYBODY could walk in the building (one of my shippings from Walmart got STOLEN...)
Some positive things: George - the caretaker- was very helpful all the time! There were a lot of amenities in the kitchen. Sorry but other than that nothing positive to mention!

Fritz,
Thank you for taking the time to rate and review our apartment, we always appreciate the feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed the building location it's the perfect address if you want to stay in SOHO/NOLITA.
I'm sorry to hear that you faced such problems, we will make a thorough cleaning for the next guest and make sure everything is clean in the future.
We upgraded the apartment radiators and fortunately it's working very well now, and as always we keep a few portable heaters int he apartment so tenants can regulate their heat to their preferences.
We are sorry for the front door and will remind all tenants to close it properly.
Thank You
Best
