Ap art Festival

This year a new festival hits the South of France with a bang. From July 8th to July 13th The Alpilles-Provence art International Contemporary Art Festival will take place in the Alpilles region of the South of France. Artist will present their work at 30 venues throughout the region.  In addition there will be panel discussions, lectures, film screenings, studio visit and more.  It’s a great opportunity to see the latest art work being produced in the South of France, and to enjoy the Provence like a local, what better way than to rent your choice of villas in the area.

With so much new art being created all of the time, this festival is the perfect opportunity to see what are the latest styles being produced, talk to the artists about their inspiration and tour the country side in the Alpilles region.

The center of the AP’art International Contemporary Art Festival is undoubtedly Saint-Remy-de-Provence where there are 17 venues showcasing the art, but all of the venues can be found within 10km of the center of Saint-Remy-de-Provence including the near-by towns of Les Baux-de-Provence, Eygalières, Orgon, Saint-Etienne-du-Grès and Tarascon.

Some of the exhibits will continue into September so if you can’t make it right away for the festival, you will still have time to see many of the exhibits anyway. New York Habitat offers many interesting apartments and villas in the Saint Remy area including:

A 4-bedroom villa just 5-minutes from the center of Saint-Remy-de-Provence (PR-420) with a pool and plenty of space for the whole family.

A studio apartment in Saint-Remy de Provence (PR-1051) with a private terrace and small garden space

A 1-bedroom vacation rental located in a peaceful residential area close to the center of Saint-Remy-de-Provence (PR-838)

There are plenty of lovely choices throughout the Alpilles region of France and which makes going to the Ap’art International Contemporary Art Festival all the more fun.
